I'm getting an error when I try to get my parking permit, what do I do?

Parking permits become available to purchase on August 1, 2025. If you still get an error at that time, call 1-707-664-4321.

Are meals for the guests at the Welcome Dinner covered by the Jump Start program?

Yes. We can accommodate the Jump Start student and up to three guests.
 

How is early move-in paid for?

The Jump Start program will transfer funds for your early housing directly. You will not pay any out-of-pocket costs.

What parking is available during move-in and how much does it cost?

Guests can purchase a daily parking permit at the main kiosk (by the flagpole) or at the parking permit machines in the parking lots (see the interactive map to find the parking permit dispensers) Parking permits are $6. Students who plan on bringing a car to campus for the semester can purchase a regular parking permit. 

What time does the official Jump Start programming start on August 11?

3:00–5:00 pm Check-in with housing on the third floor of the Student Center to get your key. 

4:30 The Welcome Table will be open.

5:45 Program introduction/welcome, followed by dinner on the Cooperage lawn. 

After dinner, you will be able to finish move-in or run some errands if you need to.
